Oh My Goshies!

So, no-one has posted in FOREVER!!!
I'm honestly in a writing rut :( But I'll give you some life updates and a few Media Suggestion
So..
Life Updates-
A New Year:
What does that really mean? I love to think of it as a chance to start over. I've set a New Years Goal (NOT resolution*) of talking to people (acuantinces and strangers) more often and building friendships. Cheesy, but that's something I struggle with. So far, I've been doing really well, and am so much less afraid of public speaking.

A New Semester:
A whole new world of classes, Boring. :) I'm participating in A WWII class and An Entrepreneurship Class, as well as A production of Taming of the Shrew (Auditions were last Friday, I'll tell you more about that later in the post)

A Few of My Travels:
So, I may or may not have posted about my Cruise in December, but I went on a Disney Cruise (#6) and had an amazing time. In this past month, I've been to Las Vegas to visit some Amazingly Awesome friends and an overnighter with my two best besties at Great Wolf Lodge. This year, we'll be taking a small travel break until June/July. We usually travel a lot, but this year we're exceptionally busy with life.

Auditions:
So our original director quit the play (AHH!) and my friend's mom stepped in too save the day! (Insert cheering crowd here) She got the assistance of a wonderful actress who helped out with Auditions.
For those of you who are not familiar with Taming of The Shrew, it's basically about A girl (Kate) who everyone thinks is insane and is truley violent and her younger sister (Bianca), who wants to get married, but because of the social standards of that time, Kate would have to be married first, so a plot is set up to get her married  so Bianca can get married.
This Crazy actress had us do the scenes and then threw in something absolutely awkward. One of my audition pieces managed to have me doing a scene where I was protecting my chair from one of my friends brothers, who was auditioning for one of Kate's love interests. Later I shared a "wooing bench" with the same guys little brother, who was auditioning for Bianca's love interest, the strange this in this was he would scooch towards me, and when our sides touched I was supposed to stand up and walk around the bench (This was very awkward, because he's one of my best friends). And with my BGF's older brother (again) my best friend had to let him put his arm around her about a million times using the yawn and strech.
Anywho, I auditioned for Bianca- She's a major flirt, and so am I- and The Widow- Who is only in one Act and basically gets to give Bianca a piece of her mind :) if you know what I mean. Bianca's auditions required (Quote) "Chemistry". I tried hard, and gave it my all, but I honestly don't think I'll get the part. :) I'll be happy with the widow if I don't get Bianca.

Stepping Where No(t many) Girl(s) has/have been before:
I've been terribly in like with a guy for a few months now, and I'm set up to tell him how I feel sometime this week. I'm very nervous, but I honestly hope he feels the same way.

How to spot a Mormon :)

So, this is a totally random post I've always wanted to do. Us Mormons are always told we 'glow' and we just roll our eyes and laugh, because we don't actually glow. WE don't care if you ask us if we're Mormon or LDS and we'll probably even answer any questions you have, but it's probably not a good idea to start asking everyone you see if they're Mormon.

A lot of Mormons:
1. Are from Utah - Not all, so don't go asking all people from Utah if they're Mormon. (The three of us are from the Pacific Northwest, so just know that anyone could be a Mormon)
2. Have a lot of siblings/children (I have 5, Rat has 6, and Tiger has at least 3 [I'm bad at remembering young children]) at the same time, I know a lot of Mormons with only one sibling or even none.
3. Have been to one weird/unusual place (Tokyo, Paris, Switzerland,Etc.) and never been anywhere else. This is their Mission, which most young men and quite a few young women go on for 18-24 months in between the ages of 18-27.

Most Mormon:
1. Say really stupid scripture sounding stuff, like- Fiber of My Being, or Nourish and Strengthen , or (My personal Favourite) Go and Do.
2. Layer Clothing. A LOT. (Usually in the summer) If you see a tee shirt under a tank top, or leggings under shorts, they probably are Mormon, or have really bad skin.
3. (Women) Have a passion for something artistic (Photography, Drawing, Painting, Poetry, etc.) that they just do during their children's nap times. It's a sad reality that many young women get married and have kids during college, causing them to give up their dreams of their hobby. (Kudos to you if you can balance the two well.

There's a Good Chance their Mormon if:
1. They are two young (18-27) boys/men in suits riding Bicycles with Nametags declaring them as Elder "Insert Strange Last Name Here"

Those People you think are Mormon, who probably aren't:
1. It's Sunday and you see a nice looking family walking down the street, they are dressed in their Sunday best, The daughters in Dresses, the Men in suits, and The Mother wearing a nice dress shirt and pants. There is no official anything against it, but Women just don't wear dress pants on a Sunday. Not Mormon women anyway.
2. You are eating at a cute family friendly restaurant and see a family praying. I don't know what religion they belong to, but I've never met a Mormon who prays at a Restuarant, unless it's part of an event.

That is a good thought, but she was crying, remember? Olive Hornby was teasing her about her glasses so she probably took them off and was wiping her eyes.
Yes yes that's true but was J.K. Rowling thinking of that when she wrote about it?
I'm sure she was. She is a genius after all.
*gasp!* But then what about Harry!? Harry has glasses too! Did he realize when he was going into the Chamber of Secrets that he wouldn't be killed- only petrified?
He probably did... and I'm sure J.K. Rowling realized that too. But he was going straight into the Chamber of Secrets, he would have died anyway because the basilisk was told to attack him. Venom, remember...?
Ah, yes. *sigh*

Websites, NaNo, and Nicknames

So yeah. This is a random collection of websites that I like.... scratch that I LOVE them :D

-The ultimate fanfiction website. I made an account but haven't written anything... The main stuff I look for on there is Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and of course, Furuba ;)

-Check it out! The Tiger showed it to me... anyway it's a little pointless (don't hurt me Kisa-chan!) but it's soooo addicting and I love it so much :D

-HARRY POTTERRRR..... I must say my three favorite book series are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians/The Heroes of Olympus, and Fruits Basket. They all ROCK. But anyways, this is basically a website designed by J.K.Rowling herself! o.O

Subject change: I really should be writing right now instead of posting, because the NaNoWriMo deadline is midnight TONIGHT. O.O
Currently I still need 4,000 words... during the month I really slacked, but who would've guessed? Yesterday and today I wrote 16,00 WORDS!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!
Heheh yeah. I love writing, that's definitely what I want to do for a living... ;D

This is like totally random but I just feel like talking about it...
So The Tiger and me have a sort of private joke: we gave each other nicknames based on Furuba.

She is:
Imoto (-chan) : meaning little sister
Kisa (-chan) : being Kisa of Furuba

I am:
Onee-chan : meaning big sister
Momo (-chan) : basically like Momiji... of Furuba. Should I have to say 'of Furuba'???

Anyway but the funny thing is she's a year older than me, but I call her imoto and she calls me onee-chan... That's because she's Kisa and she says I remind her somewhat of Tohru, and of course Kisa calls Tohru onee-chan. :3 Also because she's shorter than me.
Somehow we came to adopt Momiji and Kisa as our own characters... because they are our favorites or they are the most like us. Who can say? :D
We even dressed as them for Halloween... It was AWESOME. (Did I say that already in a different post? I don't think so but I'm not sure). Yeah so we both went through our clothes and picked out an outfit that made sense for the character... I put my hair in a beret :) and she had a school-uniform-looking outfit that was CUTE. X)
We then made tiger/rabbit ears and tails and wore them... Oh that was fun... No one even knew who we were supposed to be...

The Mabudachi Trio

Now that I've done a post about Kyo and Yuki, I have to do one about everyone's favorite trio of friends... The Mabudachi Trio! Ha! ^-^ At first I didn't understand what mabudachi meant, so just in case anybody doesn't either it means 'happy'.

I have no idea what the combination name for this one is. >-< Shigure and Akito! Akito is a boy in the anime, but in the manga he turns out to be a girl. And Shigure falls in love with her! Most unlikely couple ever, I'd say. ;) I love this pic...

Sorry I couldn't find a very good pic for this one... Mayori! Hatori and Mayu. Mayu is only in the manga (again) and she's a teacher at Tohru Kyo and Yuki's school. She is friends with Kana.

Erm... dunno what then name for this one is either. :| meh. Well. Ayame and Mine! They are perfect for each other because they're both so eccentric... ^-^ Mine is Ayame's assistant at his shop.

Harin. They're perfect for each other aren't they? They're so similar.... O.o Haru and Rin... yay! I like Haru! Rin is only in the manga. She's the year of the horse.

Bad picture! Aaaah! >-< Anyways... I have no idea what the combination for this is... but I always found it strange that these two ended up together. Kazuma is Kyo's foster dad, right? But Saki (or Hana) is Tohru's best friend... so that would make these two like at least 20 years apart. O.o O.o O.o

Two more anime ;)

Sooooo, other than Fruits Basket (english dub,) I have seen one other two other anime and I'm at the start of one right now... it's called Fairy Tail but I can't really tell much about that cause I just watched the first two episodes.
So there's Ouran High School Host Club (see the Furuba and Ouran Comparisons post) which is also really funny :D and I like it a lot. ^-^

The next, a lot of people don't consider it an anime (but it kinda is...) Avatar The Last Airbender. This is maybe tied as my favorite along with Furuba! ^-^ Here's pics!

All right, I don't exactly have a theme for this post but here are some pics and some random info! Yay! ^-^

I LOOOOOVE this one for some reason. And forgive me for saying so if it sounds weird but Yuki is uber cute in this pic... >-< Meep. He really looks like a girl but he's ADORABLE.... T-T

Who else LOVES that Tohru has pink butterfly wings!? (If you don't get it remember that her mom's gang nickname was the red butterfly...) *wink wink* And Yuki and Kyo are so adorable....

   So when I learned of Furuba I first watched the english dub anime and am now reading the english dub manga... hm. I kinda wish now I'd done it the other way around but oh well. ;) I wanted to find the japanese anime with english subtitles, but could not find it! T-T Good news though, I finally did! And I will watch it as soon as possible! I couldn't find a way to post it though it was not on Youtube which is the easiest way.... anyways. The link where I found it is
